Project Description

Crossey Engineering provided the mechanical and electrical consulting services for the 202 South Thayer Building at the University of Michigan.

One of the premier post-secondary schools in North America, the University of Michigan has a student population of 42,700. The 202 South Thayer Building includes approximately a 60,000 gross-square-foot building and it is located on the southwest corner of South Thayer and East Washington streets.

The facility has six floors plus screening for rooftop mechanical equipment and consists of approximately 38,000 net square feet of space. The 202 South Thayer Building houses the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts departments of Asian Languages and Culture and Near-Eastern Studies, and the Jean & Samuel Frankel Center for Judaic Studies.
