Founded in 1916, the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) underwent massive renovations and additions, with the construction of the Trades and Technology Complex.
Providing learning space for approximately 8,100 students, the pedagogical building allows students to utilize their environment to gain a better understanding of their education, through exposed walls and building operation units. Beyond classrooms, the 750,000 sq. ft. facility also includes teaching laboratories, administration offices, food services, and underground parking.
