Meridian Arts Centre, formerly the Toronto Centre for the Arts is a multi-venue performing arts centre that primarily operates as a community cultural asset through the provision of venues to the not-for-profit cultural sector on a rentals basis.
Crossey provided mechanical, electrical, telecom (ICS2), lighting (Consullux) and energy modelling consulting (Gruen) services for the renovation of the existing Main Stage Theatre.
The renovation created a black box theatre on the stage and the Lyric Theatre on the audience side of the existing proscenium. The non-renovated space was kept operational during the construction of the renovation space.
